Ideally candidates will have 2-5 years of trading experience from the commodity or financial markets.

This role is responsible for negotiating and concluding precious metals deals to deliver enhanced business outcomes for Natural Resources Global. The role has primary responsibility for building and maintaining key commercial relationships with precious metals and where required challenging the business to ensure value creating opportunities are leveraged.


  • Executing and enhancing marketing strategies for maximum value.

  • Providing value analysis to determine best value options for the business when evaluating deals and constructing a strategy.

  • Ensuring individual commercial deals/contracts/transactions are appropriately evaluated and clearly align with the overall market strategy.

  • Negotiating and concluding long-term and, as required, also spot contracts

  • Developing processes, systems, team capabilities and customer relationships in the US and as it relates to any export also overseas customers relationships.

  • Assessing data and market intelligence from market analysis, market, competitors, customer downstream processors and apply these in an innovative manner.

  • Developing a clear customer focus and understanding the needs of our customers’ customers, to develop value-adding propositions for precious metals.

  • Developing new customer relationships and maintaining/enhancing of existing customers.

  • Working with Sales Operations team and Asset Liaison to coordinate and manage the inventory stream from mine to customer, including product allocation/production orders/finished goods inventory.

  • Traveling often to visit customers.

  • Structuring marketing plans and deals and communicating and demonstrating the value associated with the marketing plan and be accountable for its outcomes.



What you will need for this role


  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization

  • Interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management and business partner management skills

  • Strong precious metals processing knowledge

  • Experience in selling precious metals preferred

  • Established precious metals customer relationships desirable

  • Understanding of financial, commodity markets, commodity pricing structures

  • Ability to solve complex problems

  • Experience in generating and implementing outcomes to improve workflows and processes to increase efficiency and eliminate waste
